Magnificent Himalayan valley

 Magnificent Himalaya Valley temples

There are several temples situated in the Himalayas , among all the temples and other spiritual destinations, Tungnath has been one of the most mesmerising enchanting and inevitably unforgettable pilgrimage of mine. It has an optimistic demeanour to it and an extreme rejuvenating ambience, it is an epitome of peace and serenity. It is a perfect holiday destination for those who are fond of trekking, the environment is extremely harmonious and full of contentment. The climate usually is on the lower side, but during the winter season it’s not possible to go and also the temple’s gate are closed. It is situated on a height and the trek is of around 5 kms on a slope. There’s been various mythological stories revolving around the temple, about how lord shiva’s worshipers have established various shivlings and offered there penance for a prolonged period of time , and have obtained blessings from lord shiva and also were successful in the attainment of  various “Siddhis”. 2 kms  above the Tungnath Temple , is a beauty temple known as “Chandrasheela” as the name indicates it symbolises moon or the lord “Chandra” , there’s been a mythological story about that when lord Chandra was cursed by his father-in-law “Daksha Prajapati” that he would lose his true self  and would begin to wax and wean then he offered excessive penance to lord shiva for a long duration and was blessed by him. It was this place in the Tungnath where Chandra did his “Sadhana” . Chandrasheela is also considered one of the highest point from where one can view the whole of Uttarakhand. During my trip to Tungnath it’s been a blessing for people to visit and seek blessings for the lord of the lords shiva and such a beautiful atmosphere and even when there’s scrounging hot and humid climate across the nation but there’s peace and cold environment in Tungnath it is located near Chopta in the Himalayan valley known as Chamoli district . There’s also one prominent thing that I spotted which made my journey more than memorable was the beautiful bird named monal it is one of the most beautiful and attractive avian creatures , it is very hard to spot that bird it is said that when there’s good fortune around and there’s blessings of the goddess there’s optimism and a sense of humility around which is been said that only a few lucky people could see and all almighty’s graces I was one of them .

As before I’ve mentioned about the climate and the temperature I would also like to mention or tell in advance people who are fond of trekking that it’s quite of an easy trek to achieve it but one must take care of their health as it is located in a high altitude so there is a probability of hypoxia that is insufficient oxygen causing respiratory problems so one must be cautious of their health and despite of the beautiful view and greenery all around food availability over there is quite difficult to attain as there is most likely to be ready to eat or instant food . One must also carry there raincoats and umbrellas because there’s a possibility of rain but when it rains it’s even more spectacular this place is rejuvenating and has an inherent connection to nature as well as spirituality.

My family is extremely fond of travelling especially in the mountain region so it’s been quite often and impromptu visit but still one of the most faacin Destinations . I’ve met many people from all
Across the globe visiting Tungnath and even there’s a saying that one’s desires and wishes are always fulfilled whenever they visit this temple because it was the first temple which was established by the Pandavas and then lord moon himself devoted himself to lord shiva for his extreme intensified penance and also one of the temples in India which is being situated in such a high altitude but still there’s an outer body experience a person can feel , it’s a sort of an oblivion because places like this are very rare to find , there’s one thing I could ask from the almighty that there shouldn’t be exploitation of such speculated places.
